AthensFurs is the monthly furry meet in Athens, run by the Greek furry community GreekFurs. The organizers aim to bring together furries from Athens, the rest of Greece and abroad for an afternoon to relax, talk and share experiences. The next meeting is on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 12:00 to 18:00 at Crystal Lotus Play Cafe in Athens.
AthensFurs meets on the second Sunday of every month, from midday until 18:00. The date can move because of other events or public holidays, and there is no meeting in August. The current venue is a play cafe, and food and drinks at the tables must be bought from the cafe. Smoking is allowed only outside.
Fursuits are welcome, at your own risk. The cafe has no changing room, so the organizers suggest bringing a friend to help you and look after your things. The admins wear a colourful AthensFurs lanyard with STAFF on a purple strip, so you can find them if you need help.
The organizers say no registration is needed for now. To take part, you must be a member of the GreekFurs community on Telegram or Discord, with an active profile and a filled-in bio. Staff check this when you arrive, and they can refuse entry to people who do not meet it, unless you come with someone who is already a member. The links to join GreekFurs are on the contact page of the official AthensFurs website.
Under-18s may attend, but the minimum age is 15. Nobody under 18 may buy or drink alcohol.
The meeting place is Crystal Lotus Play Cafe, Skouze 3, Athina 105 60. It is on a pedestrian street that cars cannot enter, so plan to walk the last part. The venue can change, so check the location page of the official website before each meeting.
